1986 年島根県生まれ。京都市在住。現代美術アーティスト。
2010 年京都精華大学芸術学部卒業。在学中から美術作家の井上信太に師事。
美術や舞台美術の在り方を学ぶ。
いらなくなったぬいぐるみやゴミ、漂流物などを使い、造形物やインスタレーシ
ョン作品を制作する。
一時は作品制作から離れ、新潟の限界集落にて山での生き方を学びに行くが、田
舎での暮らしの難しさを痛感する。
挫折から一念発起し、京都を拠点に再び精力的にアート活動を行なっている。
Shin Degawa
Born 1986 in Shimane Prefecture. Lives and works in Kyoto. Contemporary artist.
Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Art in 2010. Studied under artist Shinta Inoue while still in school.
Studied art and stage design.
She creates sculptures and installations using discarded stuffed toys, garbage, and drifting objects. He has been creating sculptures and installations using discarded stuffed toys, trash, and driftwood.
He temporarily left the production of artworks and went to a marginal village in Niigata to learn how to live in the mountains, but he found it difficult and painful to live in the countryside. However, he realized how difficult it is to live in the countryside.
After this setback, he decided to take a leap of faith, and is now based in Kyoto, where he is again actively engaged in art activities.
